Sea of Dreams
Physical Description: Rikoshi are slightly taller than humans, sometimes standing as much as 7 feet tall (though that is rare). Their skin ranges from deep green to pale blue or purple and may even change hues according to the Rikoshi individual’s mood. It is not uncommon, also, for Rikoshi to exhibit unique patterns and markings. They are universally hairless, but some may have a crest of feathery scales on their head, back or neck. Others may have bony ridges, but all have fine small scales. Due to these scales, Rikoshi do shed their skin as they grow, but upon reaching maturity this no longer occurs as the Rikoshi no longer continue to grow.

Almost all Rikoshi are male, the females live separately in secluded and heavily fortified villages. These villages are protected by clans of dedicated eunuch warriors who defend the females at any cost. The eunuchs answer ONLY to the leaders of the female villages.
Rikoshi value valor in combat very highly, and use their combat prowess as a means to attract the attention of the female clans and earn breeding rights. Those who fight unarmed and unarmored are often considered greater breeding stock as their survival rests solely on their own physical and mental capabilities.
